This page is a celebration of knitting.
It is incredible how many hearts have been warmed to help these babies.
In South Africa
It is truly phenomenal the way the mothers and babies have touched the hearts of so many. Hazel oversees and co-ordinates what is happening. She has sent this report to us, let it speak for itself and encourage you.
We have our 'mother group' here in Melbury Osmond who meet each month in our home. The group varies, but since the beginning of January 2009 we have a usual number of 8 to 10. There are several ladies who have supported us all that time, including Barbara Waine my pattern designer, layette knitter & plants woman, Cynthia Bowditch, who has knitted 10 or more little layettes each month, (totalling 600 now) Chris Hutcheon, who has been a staunch supporter in all we do and several others who have joined us during these years and are all such a help in everything we ask.

What wonderful expressions of God’s love in the communities! It is amazing how much inner healing happens when we take our eyes off of ourselves and onto the need of others less fortunate.
